I'm really glad you went to your doc right away, Meredith.  I had a sore on my
shin recently and I went the same route.  I'm done with the antibiotics and the
wound is healing well.  Wishing you speedy healing!

Nan

The doctor says my wound is deep and is concerned it could go to the bone  and
I don't want to go to the hospital so I am on antibiotics and I'm being very
diligent. Learned my lesson.

Depend on the sore, and its reason.  Pressure sores should be clean
and debreeded and bandaged.  Infections, not treated properly can produce
more negative effects.

some antibiotics? Can I just continue soaking?
  Thanks
