I haven't been able to respond much lately due to some problems that I will
hopefully be able to rectify tomorrow.

Anyway, I face this problem last year and ultimately decided to do the
surgery and have a urostomy performed. I still have a bladder and the name
of the procedure is

ileovesicostomy. There is even a video of itOn YouTube.

I was very scared and it has taken quite a while to heal. In fact, I'm
having some problems right now, but I don't think it's related to the
surgery (it's been 12 months since my surgery). If the time comes, make
sure you get a really good surgeon.

Also you might want to try to go to a center that does the procedure using
robotics. They did the old-fashioned method on me and trying to recover
from the incision was one of the worst parts. Although, I think a lot of
the problem on having with my bladder currently is because I went too long
without having the surgery done. They wanted me to have it done a couple of
years ago and I balked at the idea.
