ok, regarding Arginine, as an amino acid.  I do favor amino acid as a 
basic building block to recovery.

Arginine is an amino acid. You can buy it as a supplement (pill) over the  
counter. It isn't very expensive. I have a bottle right now that I bought to  
help a wound.
