Like others I do not have to take pain medication other than poor man's morphine as my Dr. calls it. Tylenol and Aleve together. Each of us has a different pain tolerance level and for good or bad mine has always been high. For example I walked around with 13 broken bones in my foot for 10 days before realizing it was really broker and not just bruised. No high fives just the way I was made. It is impossible to judge others and their problems and I feel everyone on the list has their own individual problems and recognizes that others do also. We're so fortunate that Jim started this list and we can all explore, vent, and discuss what we are interested about without feeling we are asking an inopportune question that will offend somebody. Thanks for everybody's candid answers to all of our questions no matter how trite they may seem.

I wonder about my situation and future of course so curious. Thanks for your cander. On Jun 20, 2013 5:05 PM, "RONALD L PRACHT" <[email protected]> wrote: Im a c7 quad 15 yrs post injury. The first six years I had minimal pain then was diagnosed with a syrinx in 04. The pain has increased since then and with any pain meds it takes more and more over the years to control the pain. Then my appendix burst and after that a hernia. Sometimes I cant hardly stand the pain and cant see the point to my life One individual cant judge another when it comes to pain, its a personal thing. Just like a person thats never used a wheelchair has no idea what its like and makes judgements the same can be said for a person thats never had true, life altering.......everyday you wake up ........pain. Just thank god you dont have to deal with it brother. I am C6 +20 years and luckily have not experienced any pain and stopped muscle relaxers in the 90's. What is causing your pain? Todd D
