When I was first injured I would sweat whenever I was sitting in my chair. No
matter what I sat on or what position I was in ...I just sweat EVERY SINGLE DAY
for closet 15 years. I sat in a manual chair for the first 4 1/2 years then
started using a power chair - didn't matter I still sweat, it didn't matter hat
time of year and I live in New Jersey. I went to college, dated I did
everything and anything sweating, I figured I was going to sweat anyway so what
the hell. Then I started getting VERY BAD leg spazams AND sweating. The spazams
use to throw me out of my chair. I was checked out by every Doctor imaginable.
Finally, I had a ryzodomy, which is a surgical procedure where a neurologist
cuts the nerves in your back which stops the spazams. In my case,it happened to
stop the sweating as well. When I told the Doctor that I don't sweat anymore he
said " ... Consider it a bonus." He couldn't explain it.
