Jude, lucky for me I have someone to change my patches on time, although the pain will let me know when it's time. When the time comes to change my patch, the pain starts to, immediately, come back.

Yes it causes severe constipation. I take 2 Amitiza 24mg per day and Metamucil fiber to firm up the very watery excrement. You will have to experiment to see what works for you. Fentanyl is synthetic Morphine. I also take Oxycodone to help alleviate the pain. It doesn't go away but it does make it manageable .
