Hi All,
When I go to Kessler the 18th and get my new Quantum Edge.
1. I got air in the tires, first time since 1977 My supplier said he was going
to treat my air tire's with "slime" which is Supposed to prevent flats .... how
can I tell if the "slime" has been applied?
2. OK, now I'm going to take this new chair out for a spin on different
Terrains, uneven surfaces and back-up onto my platform lift on my van. What if
the traction is bad, really bad or won't get me into my lift or just makes it?
Can the traction be adjusted or Tweaked?
3. The chair I have now is ridiculously wide, so I ordered my seat and cushion
to be 2" narrower. How much wider should a cushion be than our own bodies? What
if the seat & cushion is just to narrow? Can I have the chair sent back just
for that? I realize that is a HUGH reason but will insurance pay for those kind
of changes?
My seating Specialist from my supplier, Wilpage, and a PT spent about 6-7
HOURS measuring me, asking questions, testing different chairs (regarding
center wheel, rear & front wheel drives) I had already test drove different
chairs manufactures in my own home for 2 weeks a clip. they also asked
questions like how and where I will be using my new chair.
Any help on the above matters will be greatly appreciated. Bobbie
