i went thru drivng specialist to get my hand controls. i had to take new test. only restriction that i have is automatic transmission. states have different laws.

my insurance said that it was illegal for them to charge me more because of disability. i only pay 460/year on full coverage but i do not believe/trust any insurance company.
they will find a way to screw you when u file a claim.

They have no reason to suspect anything. Its not going to affect your insurance coverage. I cant see it affecting a claim. You have no idea the hell you will unleash by checking boxes, you will have to get check ups, doc releases, retake test.............then your insurance may drop you . Im sure there will be people on the list that will want you to check all the boxes, in the end its your life, your choice. Isnt being a quad a challenge enough without creating problems?

Well, how about from the car insurer perspective, any chance they use this to deny a future claim? I just said no and moved on.

Dont check any of those boxes. Its going to make you have to
retake the drivers test, raise your insurance and make your life
more difficult. Only a fool would open that pandoras box. No body
cares if you use hand controls or have any of those troubles, its
your drivingrecord that counts..............leave this alone.

I got my drivers license on my 16th birthday, just a regular class
C with no restrictions. I was injured at 17, but never made any
changes to my license, even for the years that I was using hand
    controls.

Recently I went to change the address online and ran across this
    question...

    * Have you ever had seizures, fainting, heart trouble, hearing
problems, musculoskeletal performance problems, or respiratory
    function problems?

So my question is when I say yes to this, what do you all think
this will trigger? Another driving test?
