Sorry for the delay but I had to think long and hard on this question before I offered this. I've talked with the 3 major brand of wheelchair manufacturers in the past about this very comment and all three companies have echo'd the same response. "We Could Build The Perfect Wheelchair For Anyone, But Who Would Pay For It?" Presently CMS is the largest payee of mobility equipment and they set the fees they will pay... and for what. Hence, "why build the perfect chair if the world can't afford it?" Actually, this issue is much more complicated than the above reply, but I had to make a comment and hoped it was understood.
