Did anybody read an article I read today in AOL news about a Quad taken off a
vent and died 6 hours later?
Tim, 32, fell 16' out of a tree crushing C-3,4,5 while hunting in Decatur,
Indiana Sat. Nov.2nd Then on Sun. Nov.3rd his Family and doctors asked him if
he wanted to be taken off the ventilator and die. He said yes and with in six
hours he died.
He had just gotten married August 3, 2013 and was expecting a baby.
He had told his wife that "... I never want to have my life in a wheelchair."
What I can't be leave is how quickly the decision was made and carried out, 24
hours after his accident they pulled the plug on the ventilator.
If anybody wants me to send them the article I read, just email me and I will
send to you. I tried to send it to the Quad list but it wasn't expected.
