Ron,

I would get this checked out absolutely ASAP. The symptoms you described,
i.e. swollen, touching causes a spasm, hot to touch, are all classic
symptoms of a blood clot. And as you may already know, a blood clot that
breaks loose and travels through your bloodstream can be extremely
dangerous. It's better to be safe than sorry, no matter what your family
thinks.
