I have read through here and there are many excellent ideas. Whenever I get to the point where I am not leaving out stool or we think I have a blockage, which can result in a lot of loose stools with no significant hard still coming out, we tend to use magnesium citrate.
I have found that if I am having any difficulty whatsoever magnesium citrate in small amounts helps considerably. Lately I have been taking the active ingredient in the magic bullets, biscadile (s) orally about 12 hours before my bowel movement and this has significantly improved the speed in which I am able to complete my bowel regimen. There are times when I use many of the other techniques as well as magnesium citrate if I am having a really rough time.
