I was talking to a member on the list and wanted to make every quad aware of the danger of disreflexia. If you guys ever get a surgery where you are put out make sure you tell the surgeon that your blood pressure is going to spike and make them read the definition of disreflexia. Also make the person with you in the hospital aware as well. So many people in the medical field dismiss this as nothing but it can kill you very quickly. Even if they don't believe you they will have blood pressure meds ready then to help when it happens. Some will think you are crazy but tell them anyway. Ron
