Dan the reason you had to pay, could have been how your chair was coded by  
CMS.  If you exceed the pay code, You have to pay the difference, unless  
you can come up with a letter from your doctor for medical  necessity.

last chair about 4 years ago. Good Luck, not sure about the medicaid

Hi guys.
I recently was looking for a brand new  electric wheelchair. since mine is 
years old now.
I looked up my wheelchair place where  i always been getting them  from and 
they told me they no longer accept medicaid because of budget  cuts.


I  want to know what i should do next.
I  know they cant possibly deny a quad a wheelchair.  What do you guys  do?
