My dealer told me to get low voltage solar battery charger and plug it
into cigarette lighter. I have EMC equipment that is very sensitive to
surges. My van battery still went dead after a few weeks of not starting
van up but it did help when starting every few days.
I had a switch on my older van that was mounted above front wheel. It
worked great at keeping battery from discharging.

Does anybody here have a battery disconnect switch attached to their van?
Does anybody know exactly how this switch works? Is the switch installed
anywhere inside the van or is it under the hood?
I do not use my van much at all and my battery keeps dying constantly. I called
the company that installed my left and this is what they recommended for me, a
battery disconnect switch.
