Great idea Bobbie! I put a large piece of rigid plastic over the wall where I park my chair in my bedroom. I also use corner guards but have been using the plastic ones, so far I've only broken four or five! :-) Joan

I also put metal corner guards for the same reason. These plates are most common on the front or back doors of house and can be bought in and the big box stores that sell home improvement projects.
