I don't think a guage would work very well since when no one is in the chair there is no pressure in the seat, only volume. Once you sit on the roho your bottom should be about an inch from the roho surface. I have a doubled up egg crate under my roho. You want to measure at the bony part of the butt. Aids love doing this. Yeah, well. A mag light can be handy for this job. I think they would have included a psi Guage if it would help. Best wishes john s
