A bowel flush clears your upper and lower bowels. Waste contains bacteria and
produces gas.

Thanks all, no Wheel, did bowel routine yesterday and all fine there, no skin
breakdown or nothing else we can find.

And when was the last time you flushed your bowels? Old waste/stool, can create
gas and expansion within your bowels......

Hi all...I'm still having dysreflexia on and off, been about 3-4 weeks total
now, get bad spasms-especially at night when in bed, I do better during day
when up and taking pain meds. In 17 years as a quad I have only had problems
similar to this when I had serious bladder infections. 1st I went to family doc
and he did some blood work but found nothing, Next we sent A Urine sample to my
Urologist and he found 2 bacteria's and put me on 7 days of cipro--just in case
a uti or infection could be the cause, I will finish the cipro tomorrow but
things are not getting better so It must be something else...I have a syrinx in
my spine, don't know if that can be the cause and not sure I can even do an mri
now due to spasms when I lay down, sure hope We can find the cause or I'm not
sure what will happen...Oh well, I'll stop for now, If anyone has an Idea on
this, please reply...Thanks Beforehand, hope your all doing well. Dan H***
