Hi don, sorry about your friend. Which one of these should a quad get? I had
one a few yrs ago, not sure which, thought there was just one?

This weekend I lost another friend of mine who was a quad. He was way too
young to die and was actually in relatively good health the last time I
saw him. He was taken down, rather quickly, by pneumonia.
So, I'm pleading with all of you to ask your doctor if you are a good
candidate to receive the pneumonia vaccine. I plan to get the vaccine as
soon as possible after seeing my friend's illness and what he went
through.
There's good information about the two types of pneumovax (PCV13 and
PPSV23) on many Websites, including this one:

I encourage everyone to do a little research and consider getting this
vaccination. It could be a lifesaver.
