Hi everyone, I contacted the transfer master bed co. because to remote for our 
double bed is not connecting on the up and down. Sometimes it will and can get 
it to work but its a matter of time. The other functions on it work ok. Anyway, 
this was his response when I called about getting a new remote.

Hi Mrs. Bell, 


Barb brought me your file and related your conversations to me.  As a courtesy 
to you I reviewed this again and it is an inescapable conclusion that you bed 
has discontinued parts. Some of the companies that supplied us the electronics 
are not in business anymore and there is nothing to be done. 


Your bed is 14 years old.  Should you wish to consult with a local electrician 
they may be able to work around the issues. As a courtesy we can offer you a 
new bed with greatly discounted price.

This is what I sent back to him in reply.
Dear Aaron, I can't believe this. I rely on your bed to go up and down for my 
disability needs. It is vital to my existence. I will check with and 
electrician as you suggest but if that does not work. What would reduced price 
be? Could you just put in new motor etc. to save  me money? I am on many forums 
and chat rooms with others looking for equipment such as a double bed like the 
one I have from you. I have always recommended your company to them but feel 
most conflicted over this.

What do you guys think of this. I think it really sucks, paid 5 thousand for 
this bed!
