Well, another year down. The last 6 months have been fraught with medical problems ... 3+ weeks in ICU in December. Spiraled downhill after putting my dog down. Didn't eat or drink - ended up septic ... vent, pic line, feeding tube, pull the plug discussions - the whole 9 yards. Don't remember much which I am very thankful for. Another week in the hospital in March - my potassium skyrocketed and they called me at 10PM to tell me to go to ED. Got that under control. Nurse smashed my knee while in during March, nice sore there now. My legs got so thin from being in bed, so now I have 3 sore on my left leg, one is down to the bone. The Wound Care Clinic is beginning to feel like home! Feeling much better now. Hopefully things will start to look up now. Getting to be an old quad sucks ... but, I still think it's better than the alternative! Hope everyone is well. Nan
