Any of you remember me telling you stories about Dawn, a C-6,7 Quad neighbor of
mine who lives in the building?
She has been injured 25 years now and the entire time has never ever worn a
pair of shoes, time caught up to her.
Her toes are seriously curling underneath and she got a bad infection. Then on
May 26th she went into the elevator frontwards and smashed her toes. The next
day when the nurse came they were bleeding and she told her to go to the ER.

They admitted her immediately and then 1 week and a day later they did surgery
to remove a few toes from each foot because she had MERSA in the bone.
They put heavy duty big cast on her both feet and sent her to a rehab facility.

Yesterday she had a doctors appointment at 4:30 to have a cast removed. Things
look fine but the casts have to stay on for 2 more weeks.

The transport company did not show up until 9:15pm she waited, with an aide,
for 3 1/2 HOURS!!! Got back to the rehab center at 10:00pm. Bobbie
