Quadius, I have a Urostomy and had a wound underneath the adhesive part. That was after playing around with different stoma appliance companies and brands. I strongly recommend you talk to, or go see, a stoma nurse. Every hospital had one and many visiting nursing companies (or competitors) should have a stoma nurse on staff. Good luck, Bobbie
