I too have been using a low dose of Bactrim for quite awhile and I very seldom 
have any UTIs (problematic). This last February was my first UTI in almost 
three years. Like Greg two weeks of Cipro took care of that. Thank goodness for 
modern medicine :-). I am just finishing up the Outlander series, and I am very 
glad that I live in today's world and not in the 1700s! Have a great day
