Yes.  I get evaluated every 6 months for the CD-PAS program that's through my
local CDR.

Try contacting your local center for independent living.  They should be able
to get you information on how to get help that's available.  I hope that is
helpful. Best Wishes, John s.

How does anyone get approval for home health aid care? My husband is a totally
dependent quadriplegic and his insurance does not cover any home health. The
only way we can get it in Arizona is if he is eligible for AHCCS which we are
not because our income exceeds the minimum and same with Medi-cal in
California. Does anyone know a way to get paid home health if you are not on
state insurance?    From: Gmail [mailto:[email protected]]

What are you all referring to in this thread?  I'm reading that you all are
being evaluated and are getting hours.  What are the hours for that your
talking about?    Todd D c6inc ᐧ    On Wed, Aug 5, 2015 at 11:40 AM, Joan

Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] Reevaluated   Yeah, every year.  This year they gave me
36.5 hours per week.  I asked the caseworker where the 0.5 hours come from, she
told me it's determined by some kind of computer algorithm.   On Tue, Aug 4,

Answering all their questions, for me, REALLY brings it home for me.
I couldn't stop crying once the nurse left.
But I'm reinstated there going to let me keep my 40 hours per week and my
chair, hoyer and bed.

Anybody else have to go through this periodically?   Bobbie
