Wheelchair you are always so helpful and we have a WW Grainger about 65 miles
away and my brother works nearby. Sadly the pulley doesn’t have any markings at
all but the man who owns a machine shop (actually designed a gun for the
military) called and is happy to look at it when he gets home.

It can always be worse so I’ll be patient. My brother found the cable and the
company gave it to him along w/ everything else he needed.

Hopefully by Wednesday I’ll be fixed up J

Happy Holiday Nicki. I'm sure IMS did not purchase pulleys at ACE Hardware,
but rather using one of two potential suppliers. McMaster Carr or WW Granger.
Look for unique markings on your pulley before contacting these industrial
suppliers.

Glad you were able to find the cable. Did you also find the "yoke" "stop" and
"connectors"

Best Wishes

I sent to a few of you directly because you’ve helped in the past and yes
Wheelchair I found the cable to make my own finally).

I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan IMS Rampvan Conversion.

I’m having problems w/ the cable staying on and my brother came out to replace
the cable, this would be the 4th in less than a year (previous 3 were done by
the dealer).

The door worked great twice but then the cable (which wraps a certain way
around the pulley on the motor shaft) criss-crossed so the door only opened
part way.

After further inspection of the pulley and old cables (which the coating was
getting stripped off of) my brother noticed the pulley has gotten grooved from
the bare cable. We think

this is why the cables are wearing out.

I had on old motor and we were going to swap the pulleys (the other one isn’t
worn) and he couldn’t get it off the old motor. It came right off the motor
that is on my van.

I know my dealer, now United Access, won’t sell me a pulley but they’ll sell me
a new motor for $1250.00

Any idea where I can buy it? Would it be an OEM part?

Trying to contact a machine shop to fabricate one but the owner isn’t answering
today………yes, Sunday of Labor Day weekend. J
