Thanks Jim...cool site with lots of options....I have diabetes and edema (foot
swelling ) that goes up and down. I see a few items I want to try, some items a
bit pricey but it is always that way for specialty clothing and shoe wear.

I can wear button-down shirts and other things, but I have to wear my strap
across my body. It goes from my left shoulder down to my right hip. Just like a
seatbelt.
I have a friend that did the same thing Joan did and it worked out fine for
him.I I have found that pants aren't as difficult as you might think to wear.
I basically wear boxer briefs below my pants to protect my skin and because my
urine bag comes off the side of my right leg I have had someone cut Velcro into
the side so I can put the bag through there.
I know one company that does it for veterans, but I'm not sure if there are any
other companies out there to do is type of service for reduced rates.Q

I'm getting tired of T shirts and stretch pants. I have a chest strap which
helps hold me upright in my chair (along with lateral supports). In order to
hide it, I have a modified sweatshirt (split down the back) which hides the
strap, but I'm looking for some more dressy options. Do you know of a source of
adaptive clothing which can hide a chest strap? Thanks,Dave Krehbiel
