I had osteopenia, but they still took me off excessive amounts of calcium
about 10 years ago. There was a study on this back then which said the same
thing. I have had copious amounts of bladder stones and a large kidney
stone which developed. So far I am doing better with the bladder stones and
a kidney stone is 9 mm, but in a position where it doesn't seem to be
causing too much problem.

It's better to just get the calcium in a multivitamin and take it in
through other vegetables.
