Been there, done that. Xilmetl tablet is made to place between the teeth and gum. It has an adhesive layer to hold in place and lasts for hours. GA In a message dated 10/8/2015 8:41:29 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
For over four months now I have been dealing with what my dentist calls burning mouth syndrome. I had never heard of it until my tongue/lips began to feel like I had chugged scalding coffee. Any food even slightly spicy is just torture. Even cold water and toothpaste feel like hot pepper. The doc has given me diflucan and prednisone and neither helped. Biotene is the only toothpaste that doesn't make my eyes water. I can only tolerate bland food ....and I can barely taste anything. It's about to bring me down. It's not enough that everyday is a stretch of hell, we have to pile more sh-t on top of it. I've had about all I can take guys. I say a prayer every night that I won't wake up the next morning. I'm sorry to lay all this on you guys. Some of you have problems that make mine look tiny. Thanks for listening/reading my ranting. God bless each of you. Larry
