Welcome Ron!

I’ve gotten through the last 17 years by leaning on faith, family and friends.
I hope you learn as much as I have from the people on this list.

I am c5 also but don’t use software, I type with my pinky knuckle and I have
enough arm movement to e able to hold a remote and use my tongue to change
channels.

I know there are people here that will give you recommendations on voice
activated software and other adaptive equipment.

I’ve never heard of MOTO but any means to do range of motion would be good
(that is one area that we didn’t do ad in hindsight I wish we would have).

Your wife is only four months into this and may gain more use as time passes. I
achieved my maximum recovery at about two years post SCI.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Wife recent SCI

My wife is a recent SCI C5 (may 31). While we are dealing with a lot now (as
most of you know better than I) we will get through this leaning on our faith,
family and friends. Bruce had mentioned voice activated software to be able to
use her I-pad and computer. What are most of you using? How about being able
to control the TV?

Also have any of you used or have an opinion of the MOTO med movement therapy
(an exerciser for legs and/or arms).

Thanks for any info
