Hmmmmm, so found another spot a little further away really nicely protected from the stiff breeze and waited for lunch hour. During lunch hour we got me cleaned up, clean shorts on, and lost the flies. The rest of the day were quite well and I was able to visit and enjoy all my friends. We traveled back to Reno, and I woke up very sick the next morning. Fever, nausea, chills you name it I had it. It was so bad the next day I went to my Dr., Who found a large spider bite on the underside of my leg at my shorts level. They finally determined that I had been bitten by a brown recluse spider after the necrosis started tunneling around my leg. I was lucky that we caught it quite early and only minor problems that damage in later years. Everyone still laughs about moms swarm of flies. And flies seem to love dive bombing my face. And that’s another story. Have a great day, we are waiting on the first serious storm of the year, winds are at 60 miles an hour now, and rain and snow with wind gusts to 100 miles per hour are projected. Nice warm fire in my future. I was so nervous about the damage flights do to me – – skin damage, dysreflexia, being banged up by luggage handlers transferring me to the seat, etc. – – that my body just said, shit happens.
