I had a major hemorrhoidectomy last December and considered a colostomy then.
The amount of feces coming out at night would probably blow a colostomy bag off....seriously. However, I am having pain when sitting on shower chair and I think it's my rear (hemorrhoids), we just don't see any prolapsed yet. I will again be considering a colostomy if more problems present.
