When I have on loose clothing I sit differently in my chair and I feel like a knife is in my shoulder blade w/ pain running across to my shoulder and down my arm. Gabapentin (sp?) helps with my nerve pain.

Right by my shoulder blade. I had a mole that hurt when touched or had pressure on my mattress. They removed it, but now it hurts worse. It feels like a knife is stabbing me, so bad I can feel sick. But then some days no pain at all. Even though I have no feeling in most of my arm, none in fingers. It often feels like I have a numb nerve going down my arm. And my middle 3 fingers feel numb, like when you bang your elbow. Though they have no real feeling. I would swear a knife is stuck in my shoulder blade. Nothing seems to help, Ibuprofen, my pain meds MS-Contin don't phase it, Cortisone shot. It can be gone 4 or 5 days, then back for weeks. My doc thinks its the mole's nerve ending, and don't think much can help. But there has to be something. Kill the nerve or something. I'm sure not SCI related, but anyone else have anything like this? Greg
