YES, I get that nerve down the arm that feels like you hit elbow"funny
bone". It can last a long time. It really sucks when it happens in bed.
I feel like ripping my arm off.
I do believe that ithas to do with the main nerve that comes down the
arm and through the elbow. I wore elbow pads to help keep from pinching
nerve while resting elbow on wheelchair armrests.
Maybe try it. And that nerve can pinch in my neck. I usually ask a girl
to massage the knots out and try stretching arm and neck.
I even had pinch nerves to cause me to be unable to flex my wrist up and
control my hand. I have no feeling or finger movement. I can flex my
wrist up, palms down but I cannot flex wrist, with palms up. I cannot
remember what the therapist calls it.
In short, try padding where elbows rest, massage, stretching and if
nothing else try ripping your arm off.....

I have an issue with my shoulder. Right by my shoulder blade. I had a mole that
hurt when touched or had pressure on my mattress. They removed it, but now it
hurts worse. It feels like a knife is stabbing me, so bad I can feel sick. But
then some days no pain at all. Even though I have no feeling in most of my arm,
none in fingers. It often feels like I have a numb nerve going down my arm. And
my middle 3 fingers feel numb, like when you bang your elbow. Though they have
no real feeling. I would swear a knife is stuck in my shoulder blade. Nothing
seems to help, Ibuprofen, my pain meds MS-Contin don't phase it, Cortisone
shot. It can be gone 4 or 5 days, then back for weeks. My doc thinks its the
mole's nerve ending, and don't think much can help. But there has to be
something. Kill the nerve or something.
I'm sure not SCI related, but anyone else have anything like this?
