My husband didn't have eye problems, but Gabapentin at 1800 mg totally took away all his muscle function. He is incomplete and started moving biceps and legs 3 months post injury. Then they put him on gabapentin for shoulder and neck pain. All his motor function ceased for the next month. The doctor said it wasn't gabapentin. But we took him off it; it caused horrible withdrawals for two weeks and the day of his last tapered dose, his foot and bicep function returned. Not a coincidence we think. It ceases motor function..........

If you do have a cataract, I know a couple people that just had there's fixed and they both wished they'd done it sooner.
