It's been 25 plus years for me and it never fails to amaze me how kind people
are

To the point where they even get in the way. However, I was with a friend and
a young man up ahead of us in a wheelchair was approaching the same door. My
friend stepped ahead and opened the door for him. The young man stated loudly"
I can do it myself, I don't need your *** help!". My friend quietly closed the
door on him and then we sat and watched him struggle mightily to open a very
heavy door. He then opened the door for me and we went shopping! A simple
thank you would have sufficed I would think.

I've never, in my 43 years, had anybody refuse to help me whenever I asked to
open a door or pick up something I dropped.

The rudest person was a clothing retail store manager/owner stare me down and
follow me as I weaved through her racks with my sister in the 1980s

I was just up at the corner store and i asked a young black man probably in his
mid-20's if he would mind holding the door so i could go into the store.....He

is only about the 3rd person that was rude to me....most people are so nice and
go out of their way to help. Do any of you guys have any nice or rude
experiences?? I do remember Greg once said 2 guys would not help him when he
got stuck in sand once at a golf course. Dan H***
