A good pain management specialist might be able to help with the pain.
I've had one implant done, years ago. I broke another tooth last year right behind the implant, had to have it removed under general anesthesia. Implants are just too expensive at about $5K each, just not worth it. I decided I'd rather have the gap between the teeth.
