You are right Greg. Since the advent of chain stores, the wonderful old Main Street shops have disappeared. The old country stores that used to dot the landscape are also gone.I have such beautiful memories of those places. Walmart, Target et.al. are just community killers. Now add Amazon to that list. I must say, though, they saved our little community. We had a huge Fruit of the Loom plant here that closed shop and moved to Central America in the late '90's. They put over 4,000people out of work. Amazon stepped in and used their old facilities to open a huge distribution center. They are still growing. Sure wish I could have bought stock then. It was about $12 a share. Now it is in the hundreds. Wow!

But I use them a lot. And with prime, free shipping on most thing. Same day shipping on a lot. Just last week I needed a cord for something, had it free shipping by dinner time. And free returns, pick at house. Great place to do business with. Greg > Amazon is the most amazing outfit I have ever seen. They have > everything and do everything.Bezos is a genius.
