Hi Dave, If you have not already done so, I highly recommend contacting your local Aging and Disability Unit for Montgomery County MD at:
https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/HHS-Program/ADS/ADSADSResourceUnit-p179.html Nearly every if not every state has Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs). They have extensive directories of services available locally and regionally. Granted, most are income based, but not all of them. Many individuals with a significant disability and relatively low income qualify for waiver programs that provide care assistance, respite care, and more. I hope this helps… Steve - C4, 29 years On Fri, May 19, 2017 at 8:51 AM, Dave Krehbiel <[email protected]> wrote: > I have been a quadriplegic for nearly 10 years now, and as a consequence, > my wife has taken on the role of being a family caregiver for almost 10 > years. > > > > She needs help.
