Some just might be surprised to know of family members that have gone onto medical training to become nurses, doctor's, OT's and PTs after living and carrying for members of their families. And that is good too. Best Wishes In a message dated 5/19/2017 10:35:10 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Great question and idea you have Dave. You might get ideas by look at the San Diego Caregiver’s Coalition. _www.caregivercoalitionsd.org_ (http://www.caregivercoalitionsd.org/) Warmly, Kay Kay Lathrop Program Director, Amplified Agility, LLC _1-619-501-3752_ (tel:1-619-501-3752) | _www.amplifiedagility.com_ (http://www.amplifiedagility.com/) | 4275 Executive Square, Suite 200 La Jolla, CA 92037 (http://www.facebook.com/kay.lathrop.14) (http://www.linkedin.com/in/kaylathrop/) (http://twitter.com/AmpAgility) From: Dave Krehbiel [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, May 19, 2017 5:51 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [QUAD-L] Who cares for the family caregivers? I have been a quadriplegic for nearly 10 years now, and as a consequence, my wife has taken on the role of being a family caregiver for almost 10 years. She needs help. I have some ideas about setting up an organization to help support family caregivers, and right now I am doing some research. Are you aware of any helpful programs or resources or information or organization supporting family caregivers?
