Each manufacturer makes the necessary testing equipment for Tech Providers to test the integrity of each component on an electric wheelchair or scooter. Dealer programmers are also available to trained Techs. For end users, a multi voltage meter and amperage draw meter is a good start. Keep in mind that attaching the equipment to the wrong terminals could cause more expensive damage, plus repair time delay. I hope this helps, a lil. Thanks, Greg. I was looking more for the post where someone provided possible reasons, other than the obvious, for why a chair isn't getting the mileage it should. The post contained other areas of a chair that could be drawing charge from the battery, rather than normal, expected use. ____________________________________ From: greg <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, August 2, 2017 9:06 AM Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] Wheelchair Draining Battery I'd like it too. My chair often feels like the auto breaks are on, or grabbing. Fully charged, I'll be driving and the chair stops dead, I jurk forward. The joystick flashes Recharge Battaries. No idea whats going on.
