The U.S. Senate is one or two votes away from approving new health care legislation that would cut and cap Medicaid and put at risk the essential health benefits and pre-existing condition protections that are so important to individuals with disabilities and their families. This vote will occur the week of September 25th. TAKE ACTION NOW! Tell your Senators to protect Medicaid home and community-based services for children and adults with disabilities by rejecting proposals that cut and cap Medicaid! Please oppose the Graham-Cassidy amendment. The legislation includes harmful provisions that would cap and cut Medicaid services for individuals with disabilities and create uncertainty around essential health benefits and other protections currently available to Americans with disabilities and other pre-existing conditions.
