Hi all,

Please bear with me as I am going to try to describe my problem as best as
I can.

I have been using the same* Bluetooth (Motorola H720)* since my husband & I
started using a cell phone and this, of course, was was before his passing
In June of 2012 and which were the flip phones.

Then after he died and I moved in with my sister and brother-in-law I
switched over to my first Smart Phone (Samsung Galaxy 4) that I only use
for calling people & asking people to take photos with but primarily I *need
a bluetooth and*, without question, a Bluetooth and a cell phone that are
compatible for not only when I am alone on walks or if I decide to spend a
day or two in bed and my caregiver leaves to grocery shopping Or pick up my
prescription or any number of things and I need to call out help. ButI also
use it to call friends or family when she is gone.

My Samsung Galaxy 4 [that I got that in 2013 or 2014] began acting up
[would not hold a charge] so I went and bought the next least expensive
phone since I only use it for calling people and I got the same cell phone
that my niece uses (Samsung Galaxy 7) Because I am on her cell phone plan
through Verizon since I can't afford any more than $30/month. I got that
phone through Verizon and so I went to Verizon to get a new phone (the
Samsung Galaxy 7] but we can't get my Motorola H720 to pair with the new
phone. I got the phone at Verizon but they can't get it to work so they
suggested calling Verizon tech support. So with my niece here visiting she
has been trying her best to get it to work (the Bluetooth and my new phone
that was $480 and that they will not take back)

My niece has now been to Verizon (store where I got my new phone) she went
to them twice again to get the manager or whoever to try to get it to work
together! THERE IS NO REASON WHY THE TWO SHOULD NOT BE COMPATIBLE PART OF
THE TIME BUT NOT ALL THE TIME and it took us a while to even do that after
changing things a bit because all of my contacts were transferred over
originally by Verizon when I got a new phone and they doubled every
contact. We tried to remove all those "doubles" and trying a variety of
things but it is ABSOLUTELY MADDENING since I need a phone and a Bluetooth
to be compatible for emergency reasons and yet we are getting nowhere.

Finally my niece went to Verizon again today to see if they would take the
phone back (which they won't) to go back to using my older phone (Samsung
Galaxy 4) and getting a new battery for my old phone which we are currently
doing but she had to go to numerous places to try to get a battery for my
old phone. She finally went to a place here called "Batteries Plus" which *did
*carry batteries for my old cell/smartphone which we are trying to charge
now.

Thankfully, my niece was coming out from PA for a visit because of all I
have gone through (losing my best friend and companion "Leia" and having my
main caregiver in California for 9 days which is the first time I have been
completely alone) and we thought she would be able to figure it out simply
because she has the same model of cell phone BUT does not use a Bluetooth
whereby I NEED one.

When my husband was alive we tried all kinds of Bluetooths and with the
limited movement I have with my right hand and using my knuckle - the*
Motorola H720* is the only one we could find to work with our flip phones
and that it transferred over to my Samsung 4 in 2013 or 2014 and working
fine.

We need to get this figured out for emergencies and going for walks and
needing to reach someone as well as to use it and hear it through my ear as
well as privacy. I do not need it or want it to go to my power chair
armrest or anything else since I do not need that especially when outside
or even inside when trying to get under a table and my caregiver keeps the
baby monitor on in case I need something so she doesn't want to hear me
talking all the time (being on the phone with a friend or family member or
business reasons for an hour or more)

Can I ask (who use a cell phone and Bluetooth) what you use as far as phone
and a Bluetooth that you are able to hit with your knuckle to be completely
independent and the service you use? OR any suggestions?

Again, when my husband was alive he tried ordering numerous different
bluetooths but the Motorola H720 It is the only one I can use with the use
of my knuckle on my right hand which can be seen here:

I always kept one on hand so we got the brand-new one out to see if that
would work but nope.

HELP! My niece will be here through Friday and we need to get this resolved
for safety purposes as my live-in caregiver (who will be back on Saturday)
is at her wits end trying to figure it out and not getting anywhere. This
is the *last *thing I need in addition to being diagnosed with superficial
bladder cancer and so much more.

Thank you greatly!!!
