I know I am late to the party but I found my experiences might help here. I
tore open my scrotum to the point where my testes were ready to fall out. Not a
pretty picture, but we used Aquacel after stitching (36 in the ER) did not
work. The product closed the wound within three weeks. In 30 years I will not
tolerate downtime. We used the sanitary napkin to keep my boys from any
pressure from the cushion.

One otherI thing, I have a stage four wound on my sacrum caused by a hospital
bed. Those of you who have tilt, should always bring the feed up first. We are
tetraplegics, hands, feet make us quads. The skeleton that moves inside the
body and gives us pressure sores from the inside makes skin the fifth element.

It did not hurt until I went to the local hospital for a five day stay. Started
on the Friday and by Monday I was bleeding out. Did not get turned because he
told me the bed would suffice.

Good luck with everything my tetra buddies
