Hi Paul, 

I've never heard of it but would imagine it could cause a pressure sore if 
it's making your skin red. I would just watch it and I assume it could be 
removed 
if it causes skin breakdown.

Hi, I have developed some unnatural bone growth on my knee, 

also called HETERTROPHIC OSSIFICATION. It has affected the 

skin, which has become red. Has anyone had this and what did 

you do about it?
