Mine is from a Caregiver breaking my other hip and all the pressure goes on the right hip, which has made that bone stick out and cause a sore. I have to go to the Women Center from time to time last time. They told me to use zinc oxide another doctor I just went to said a&d, but it’s getting red again and trying to open so that gonna go back to zinc. I go back to the doctor this week. They are treating me for sores that developed when my left leg broke and they put on a boot that caused a stage four wound, there’s three areas that were caused by that boot. I had to go to a second opinion and they had to wrap me up . it is not wrapped right now and I’m going back to the ortho on the 18th what we have to deal with because of our bones sticking out. Let’s share a treatments , that doctors have given to us in the past and what works best. I would just watch it and I assume it could be removed if it causes skin breakdown. It has affected the skin, which has become red. Has anyone had this and what did you do about it? Thank you, Paul c5/6 11/05/03
