On the prcoessor it is stated XC68040RC25B. Does that say that >it has been tested for 25Mhz only or?

Some 25 MHz CPUs work OK at 40 MHz, but a lot don't.  Even a few 33 MHz CPUs
won't overclock to 40 MHz well.  You can try it, and if it doesn't work, you
know that you need to track down a faster CPU.

Thanks. I can understand that. I wonder if the number XC68040RC25B states that it is supposed to run at 25Mhz or if the 25 in the number on the CPU is just a coinsidence?
