I am now totally freaked out. How would anyone know this
stuff? I have no CUDA switch, but I now have contacts. Hey! How
could I have missed 'em?

BUT wouldn't you press the CUDA switch with the battery in?
On my old starmax, the CUDA is critical, but you have to have
everything in place before you press it.

I'll clean up the machine too. I suspect there is more than
one little thing wrong. But at least now I have hope.
