Yeah, the Mac has always had a far better drag-n-drop implementation than
anything else, and ClarisWorks and BBEdit are two of the most Mac-like programs
out there (i.e., they take advantage of the APIs the best).  You can do lots of
similar stuff with any Mac OS after 7.0 as long as the Drag Manager is
installed.
