You can simply avoid this by using "soldering-glue". No hot iron needed! We use this procedure for over 14 months with re-celled batteries in a 520C and a 145B without any problems. BTW: Recelling has cost US$ 15/each. In the world of oldtimercar-rebuilders this "soldering-glue" is already 20 yrs in use for repair of backwindowheatings! And successfully! Compare amount of Watts!
